The Embassy of the United States of America in Albania has congratulated Bajram Begaj on his election as the new president of Albania.
In their greeting it is said that they look forward to working with him on his new assignment.
“As Chief of General Staff, he contributed significantly to the defense cooperation between the United States and Albania. “We look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role and to further strengthen the partnership between our countries,” the embassy said in a statement.
