Rotary as the largest organization and community in the world for the promotion of values and volunteerism, on June 11 establish the district for Kosovo and Albania.

Albania and Kosovo will be represented at the highest levels of international Rotary, creating community development opportunities, with the establishment of this district. As a result, both countries provide access to funds and scholarships for young people.

According to the announcement, this rotary event is organized under the leadership of the Representative of the President of the International Rotary PDG Radu Popescu and under the auspices of the Council of Rotary Clubs of Kosovo – KKRK.

Popescu in his recent visit to Albania has shown that in order to enable the creation of the district, it was necessary to first meet certain criteria such as those of the number of members and the creation of a certain number of clubs.

This achievement of the district will have a positive impact as a message for the younger generation to be humanitarian and to help develop the community as well as help people in need.
