Montenegrin Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic supports the Open Balkan regional initiative.
In an interview, he stated that this project should not be dramatized.
According to him, this initiative can be seen as a tool for faster integration of the region into the European Union.
He says that for his government, any project that is in the function of integration should be seen as an opportunity and not as something hostile.
The Prime Minister of Montenegro added that ‘Open Balkan’ is in line with the Berlin Process.
So far, Serbia, Albania and Northern Macedonia have joined the initiative. Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina have opposed it
