On the first day of his official visit to the United States of America, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was hosted in a meeting by the Chief Executive of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Alice Albright, the Prime Minister’s Office announced on Saturday.
According to the announcement, this meeting marks the beginning of negotiations with MCC for the Compact project, which exceeds the amount of 200 million dollars and envisages the construction of energy storage systems.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked Albright for MCC’s tireless work and special focus on Kosovo’s economy.
On the other hand, Albright thanked Prime Minister Kurti for the work and commitment for this project. She reconfirmed the unstinting US support for the Republic of Kosovo through the MCC for the economic development of the country and the improvement of the lives of its citizens.
