The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, at the end of this month will travel to Hague to visit the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

The news was confirmed by his chief of staff, Ilir Kërçeli.

I believe he will make the visit at the end of June. “We will travel together,” he said.

Former KLA leaders Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi are on trial in Hague.

Meanwhile, a few weeks ago, Nasim Haradinaj and Hysni Gucati were sentenced to four and a half years in prison each.
