The United Nations Security Council will meet in New York this afternoon to review UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’s next report on UNMIK’s work.
The Republic of Kosovo in this meeting is represented by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla.
She is expected to talk about the progress made in the country, Serbia’s approach and the dangers threatening the region following the Russian Federation’s military aggression in Ukraine.
The Republic of Albania will also take part in this meeting, which since January of this year has been elected for the first time a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, for the period 2022-2023.
