Kosovo’s chief diplomat Donika Gërvalla, during her speech at the Security Council on Tuesday, revealed the reason why the head of Serbian diplomacy, Nikola Selakovic, is not mentioning her name.
An excited Gërvalla said that the UDB had killed his father.
“I didn’t want to bother him with these personal attacks, but I can’t go through this. Selakovic didn’t even manage to call my name, my name is Gërvalla, there is a reason why he can’t call me my name. My father was killed by the security service of Serbia”, she declared at the UN Security Council.
This statement by Gervalla came after the “clash” he had with Selakovic regarding the latter’s statement, who said that “Serbs are suffering. That’s why they rise up in protests. The government of Kosovo is not supervising them equally”.
Gërvalla countered by saying that Aleksandar Vučić was Minister of Propaganda during Milosevic’s time.
She also recalled verbatim the famous statement of the now Serbian president in 1995, where he said in the parliament that “for every Serb killed, we will kill 100 Muslims”.
“This is a threat to peace”, emphasized Gervalla, among other things.
