Freedom House has published a report on the level of democracy in Kosovo.
In the report of the organization “Freedom House” for Countries in Transition, published on Wednesday, Kosovo is again ranked in the group of hybrid regimes / transitional democracies.
On a rating scale from 1 to 7 points, where 1 is the lowest level of democracy, according to this year’s report Kosovo marked a progress from 3.14 points as it had in the previous report, to 3.25.
The increase was recorded in the category of democratic governance in the country, which was 2.50 points in last year’s report, while this year it is 3.00.
The ratings for the independence of the judiciary have also increased to 2.75, unlike 2.50, as in the previous report, while all other ratings remain unchanged from a year ago.
From the countries of the region, the situation has deteriorated in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, while in Montenegro and Northern Macedonia, the situation is unchanged compared to last year.
