The former ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Greg Delawie, has reacted to the statements of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, that Kosovo poses a threat to peace in the Balkans.
Ambassador Delawie, in a post on Twitter, called Vucic’s statements warmongering. He has emphasized that the threat to peace in the Balkans is Serbia and not Kosovo.
“Inciting war in the Balkans by Vucic. Make no mistake, Serbia is the real threat to peace here, not Kosovo. KFOR, NATO’s peacekeeping force, will do its job. This is a well-written story,” he wrote.
Warmongering in the Balkans from Vucic. Make no mistake, Serbia is the real threat to peace here, not Kosovo. #KFOR, the #NATO peacekeeping force, will do its job. This is a well-written story that does not "both sides" the situation. https://t.co/Hlmt8RvPun

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has accused the Government of Kosovo of planning to expel Serbs from Kosovo. He emphasized that Serbia will come to the defense of the Serbs, while he accused KFOR of not carrying out its mission in defense of the Serbian minority in Kosovo.
On Sunday, at a press conference in Belgrade, Vucic served the Serbian opinion many untruths regarding the agreements so far and regarding the position of the Serbs in Kosovo. Objective Serbian analysts accuse Vucic of creating an atmosphere of insecurity for Serbs in Kosovo.
