The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, mentioned Kosovo while expressing strong support for the membership of Finland and Sweden in NATO.

After meeting with the leaders of the two countries at the White House on Thursday, Biden said that Finnish and Swedish troops have served side by side with the US and NATO troops in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq.

“Finnish and Swedish troops have already served side by side with the US and NATO troops in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq. “And Finland and Sweden are already working in coordination with the United States and our allies and other partners to support the brave people of Ukraine.”

He has said he is proud to welcome and offer strong United States support for the applications of the two largest democracies.
