On October 10th, 2024, a significant Albanians for Trump event took place in Pennsylvania, where former U.S. Ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, delivered a speech to Albanian-American supporters of Donald Trump. Grenell emphasized the strong bond between the two nations, particularly through their shared NATO membership.

“We’re in a very shared relationship with Albania. You’re a member of NATO. And to be in NATO means we will protect each other. What does that mean? We’re brothers” Grenell declared. He stressed the mutual responsibility under NATO’s Article 5, which requires Albania to defend the U.S., just as the U.S. is committed to defending Albania.

In addition to reaffirming the strength of the U.S.-Albanian alliance, Grenell called on the Albanian-American community to take action in the upcoming presidential election. “If every single person in this room went home and shared a couple of pictures and a couple of moments to say, I need you to make sure you’re registered to vote and voting for Donald Trump… you could have a huge impact on this election” he urged.
