The Chief of Staff of the Presidency of Kosovo, Blerim Vela, has raised with concern the continuous and unstoppable armament of the Serbian state. Today, he reacted to the exposure of Chinese weapons in Serbia.

The exposure of these weapons this Saturday, has caused numerous concerns to international officials.

Vela said that the rapid militarization of Serbia is endangering peace in the region.

“ Serbia publicly unveiled the recently received China FK-3 long range, high altitude anti-aircraft missile system. Serbia is the only European country to receive and operate such a Chinese weapon system. Serbia is rapidly militarizing and endangering the peace in our region” Vela wrote via Twitter.

Serbia’s armaments have become a concern in recent months, especially since the start of the war in Ukraine. International media revealed Serbia’s secret supply of Chinese weapons through Turkish routes.

Serbia’s armament has also been intensified by Russian supplies, while Vucic is interested in buying modern Turkish “Bayraktar” drones. For this, the Serbian president had said that he had received the green light from Turkish President Erdogan.
