State Department Counselor, Derek Chollet wrote about the meeting he had with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani during her visit to the United States.

He said that the topic of the meeting between them was the partnership between Kosovo and the United States, as well as the strong commitment of the United States for the sovereignty of Kosovo.

“Met with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani today and discussed our enduring partnership and the rock-solid U.S. commitment to Kosovo’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, its path to Euro-Atlantic integration, Kosovo’s support for Afghans and Ukraine, and Summit for Democracy” he tweeted.

The American commitment for the integrity of Kosovo, Chollet also said to the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, with whom he had a meeting yesterday. He also spoke with Kurti about the progress of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and the European future of Kosovo.
