The “Sunny Hill” festival will be held in Pristina.

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, together with the Municipality of Prishtina issued a joint statement announcing that the “Sunny Hill” festival will remain in the capital of Kosovo.

“Sunny Hill Festival is held at its home, in Prishtina, on 4, 5, 6 and 7 August 2022. The Government of Kosovo, the Municipality of Prishtina and Sunny Hill Festival join forces for a wonderful edition of the festival this year, where it has place, in Prishtina” it is said in the statement.

MCYS and the Municipality of Prishtina announce that this year’s edition of the festival “will be held in a convenient location”.

“Everyone expresses readiness for the issue of long-term land use to be discussed for a while until a lasting solution is found. The common goal is that from next year, the Sunny Hill festival will be organized in its long-term location” it is said in the statement.

A “line-up” remains to be held in Tirana on August 26, 27 and 28.

“In Prishtina, Sunny Hill Festival for this year has prepared the strongest lineup of festivals in the region where in addition to well-known artists such as Diplo, Skepta, DJ Regard, AJ Tracey, Mahmood and the most famous Albanian artists, for this edition is expected to discover two very great artists of the world” it is said in the statement.

“An extraordinary summer awaits all Albanians in Prishtina and Tirana” says MRKS and the Municipality of Prishtina.
