Albania has welcomed over 1.7 million foreign tourists during the first three months of 2024. This milestone marks a new record, highlighting Albania’s growing popularity as a tourist destination. March alone saw 734 thousand visitors, representing a significant 91% increase compared to the same period last year.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared this exciting news on Facebook, emphasizing the importance of this achievement for the country: ‘Over 1.7 million foreign tourists have visited Albania during the first three months of 2024, setting a new record for the emerging hospitality industry. 734 thousand visitors enjoyed Albania in March alone, or 91% more than last year’s March, marking significant progress in figures, which we must respond to with increasingly higher standards of hospitality.’
