In a heartfelt ceremony held on Saturday, June 1st, the corner of Kinsella Street and Bronxdale Avenue in the Bronx was renamed Adem D. Celaj Way. Councilwoman Kristy Marmorato led the event, honoring the legacy of Adem D. Celaj, an Albanian immigrant who lived in the Bronx for over 40 years. Celaj, a devoted husband and father of seven, was a staunch advocate for the Albanian community and played a significant role in the development and support of the Morris Park neighborhood. The ceremony, attended by family, friends, and community members, was a poignant tribute to a man whose influence and dedication left a lasting impact.

Afrim Celaj, Adem D. The co-naming of Adem D.
