In the Albanian media the passport of an Albanian citizen was published. She had gone to Ellis Island in 1928.

Her passport photo is still preserved in a museum in the US, to document the migration at that time.

“The passport of an Albanian citizen, who had landed on Ellis Island in New York in 1928. This document is still kept in the museum of this island, as part of the history of immigration to the United States of America” it says in the inscription.
