The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met the Albanian-American community in New York on Sunday.

Through a post on her official account on the “Facebook” social network, the head of state in Kosovo has described Albanian-Americans as a decisive contributor.

“In New York we met many of our compatriots, who over the years have given extraordinary support to our fight for freedom, on behalf of all the citizens and institutions of Kosovo, I thanked them for their contribution over the decades and without which we would not if we had we would be where we are today Kosovo aspires to Euro-Atlantic integration, the EU, NATO and the UN, so the contribution of our diaspora in America and everywhere, as it was once decisive, is decisive even today.
