Last night, the New York City Council held an Albanian Independence celebration in the historic Council Chambers.
This was announced by Robert Holden, who is the New York City Council Member for the 30th District in Queens.
“Last night, the New York City Council held an Albanian Independence celebration in the historic Council Chambers. A constituent, Imam Edin Gjoni, was an honoree and received a City Council Proclamation for his work for his congregation and the community.
I am proud to represent a district with a large Albanian-American population and thank them for their contributions to our city and country.” – Holdsen wrote on Facebook.
