Besa Tafilaj Pinchatti is the Executive Director of the National Association of American Military Families.
The White House in Washington, on the 4th of July, at the celebration of the 246th anniversary of the Independence of the United States of America, had also specially invited the well-known Albanian-American, Besa Tafilaj Pinchatti, Executive Director of the National Association of Military Families of the USA (National Military Family Association), accompanied by two of her three children: daughter Zana and son Loriku.
Besa Tafilaj is the daughter of the activist, philanthropist and well-known Albanian-American publisher, Ramiz Tafilaj, who was recently awarded by the President of the Republic of Albania with the high decoration “Knight of the Order of Skanderbeg” (New York, June 12, 2022 ), decorated by American President Donald Trump with the “Lifetime Achievement” Award (2019); holds the title “Honorary Citizen” of Vushtria and the Key of this city of Kosovo (2021), the high award “Mark Krasniqi” (in Plave-Guci, Montenegro, August 1, 2021), etc.
Besa Tafilaj was born and raised in Houston, Texas, studied journalism and business at the University of Texas, and completed her master’s degree at the University of North Carolina. In her CV, she has marked a successful career as a journalist and television presenter (speaker), such as on the American television network ABC, etc., and, as the prominent Albanian-American activity, Faton Bislimi, says: “being also an author of some exclusive reports on the War in Kosovo on American TVs”. Besa is married to David J. Jr. Pinchotti, an officer of the United States Marine Corps, has three children with typical Albanian names: Lira, Zana, Lorik, who also enjoy the care of her mother, grandmother Diana Tafilaj.
The elite activist Besa Tafilaj in more than a decade has been the Director of Advancement at NMFA, considered the most valuable organization of the families of members of the US armed forces (founded in 1969), an organization with exceptional respect and high ratings in the American people, in the American state institutions in Washington D.C. and everywhere else in continental and island America, as well as in American diplomatic headquarters, in American institutions and civil society everywhere in the world.
Besa Tafilaj, recently elected Executive Director (CEO) of the National Military Family Association of the USA (National Military Family Association) was highly welcomed by the American President, Joe Biden, a month ago, in May 2022, accompanied by and with media coverage in the USA and in the three Albanian countries in the Balkans, also on social networks.
The elite presence of Besa Tafilaj Pinchotti, in the solemn and festive activity of the 246th Anniversary of US Independence, in the garden of the White House, with her two children, is a tribute to her two Albanian-American surnames, and to all Families of the Military in the USA, also for the Albanian Community in the USA and for the Albanians in the Balkans and everywhere else in the world today.
The acquaintance and good friendship between the Tafilaj and Biden families started in 1986, in more than three decades, when Biden was a senator of the US Senate, continuing in the interest of America and the Albanian Nation, through the generations, by Ramiz Tafilaj up to his daughter, Besa Tafilaj Pinchotti with her family, with her children.
