Albanian children in 1920 marching in parades to honour America’s fourth of July

During this year, the Embassy of the United States of America has continuously published photographs that prove the excellent relations between Albanians and Americans. This is how he acted this Thursday, publishing a photo where the anniversary of the USA’s independence in 1920 was marked in Tirana.

This latest image from the US Embassy was first published in 1920 and shows Albanian children from the American School and the Red Cross for Children in Tirana marching in the July 4th parade for America’s Independence Day,” the description reads.

According to the original text accompanying the photo, the phrase “Free American” was like a star that always shines in the vision of the people of Europe – including the people of Albania – who had recently been freed from the slavery of war, after a long period of hardship and anxiety.
