There have been several explosions in the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv. Details of the damage and the exact location have not yet been disclosed, writes CNN.
According to witnesses, there were three explosions in the city, where from one was seen from a distance a black cloud of smoke rising in the air.
The blasts occurred at a time when rocket attacks around Mykolaiv have not stopped since Monday. The region borders Kherson, where Russian forces are trying to defend Ukrainian territory they have taken control of.
According to the regional administration, the town of Shyroke about 50 kilometers east of Mykolaiv was bombed by Russian forces on Monday.
“No casualties have been reported so far” the regional administration said in a statement.
