Russian Ambassador Lyudmila Vorobieva has refused to confirm whether President Vladimir Putin will attend a G20 summit in Bali later this year.
“We can not yet determine whether President Putin will participate offline or online. “We still have time to think about this and wait for the developments,” Vorobieva was quoted as saying by the Antara news agency, Klankosova.tv reports.
During a telephone conversation with Indonesian President Joko Widodo in April, Putin said he would attend the G20 summit.
However, the United States has since expressed opposition, saying “it can not be business as usual” with Moscow after the invasion of Ukraine.
