The Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs in the US Congress, Gregory Meeks, received the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.
Through a Twitter post, Meeks said that he had a productive meeting with Kurti and the need for Serbia and other countries to recognize Kosovo’s independence.
“Productive meeting with the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Liza Gashi and Ambassador Ilir Dugolli. “We discussed the strong US-Kosovo relationship and the challenges to European security from Russia, as well as the need for Serbia and others to recognize Kosovo’s independence,” Meeks said.
