About 150,000 Ukrainians use the Starlink Internet satellite network every day, according to data from Ukraine.
The number of daily active users is based on “approximate data” shared by Ukrainian Minister Mykhailo Fedorov on Twitter.
Fedorov sought help from SpaceX director Elon Musk shortly after Russia launched an aggression on Ukraine to enable the use of satellite internet in the country, and the American businessman and billionaire responded positively after ten hours.

Internet service has been activated in the region although SpaceX has not yet started its commercial operations in the area.
And since internet cables were the target of Russian attacks, the solution for Ukraine was the Starlink terminals and aid began to arrive from all sides.
So far, the terminals have not only helped keep Ukrainians online, but have enabled patients in hospitals to receive ongoing care.
NBC reports that more than 10,000 Starlink terminals are currently active in Ukraine, of which 1,333 are provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), while various shareholders have provided 5,000 terminals.
