The film “Summer dreams of the Sea” directed by Kaltrina Krasniqi, has won an award at the goEast Film Festival in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The film crew has announced that they have been honored with the “Golden Lily” award.

We are excited to announce that “Summer dreams of the Sea” has been awarded the “Golden Lily” prize at the 22nd edition of the goEast Film Festival in Wiesbaden, Germany.

“We thank the jury and the wonderful audience for the honor paid to the festival,” reads the announcement of the film.

The film deals with the theme of Summer, a middle-aged woman, a sign language translator, who has a well-structured life: the wife of a well-known judge, a supportive mother, and a caring grandmother. Her quiet life is ruined by her husband’s suicide and then followed by threats from men claiming that her house in the village belongs to them.

The screenwriter of the film is Doruntina Basha, producer Shkumbin Istrefi while the main role is played by actress Teuta Ajdini Jegeni. Other actors are Astrit Kabashi, Alketa Sylaj, Refet Abazi.
