Shaip Kamberi’s Albanian Coalition received 0.28% of the votes in Sunday ‘s parliamentary elections in Serbia and is believed to have secured a seat in the Serbian Parliament.
The Albanian Democratic Alternative, by Shqiprim Arifi, from the results so far has not been able to secure a mandate as an MP.
The expectations of the Albanian parties in these elections was to secure over 3 deputies in the Parliament of Serbia.
With over 87 percent of the votes counted, the Serbian president’s list won 43.4 percent of them, the Republican Election Commission announced.
In second place came the coalition “United for the victory of Serbia” with 13.1 percent of the vote and in third place came the Socialist Party of Serbia with 11.7 percent.
