Detroit-born Albanian-American actor Nickola Shreli has landed a series regular role in the fifth season of “Tulsa King,” starring alongside Sylvester Stallone in the hit Paramount+ crime drama.

Paramount+ announced the casting as it renewed the series for a fifth season, ahead of the Season 4 premiere on October 16. Shreli is one of four new series regulars, joining Erik Palladino, Glenn Fleshler and Anthony Skordi, while Stallone’s daughter, Scarlet Rose Stallone, has been promoted to series regular.

The new season moves production from Atlanta to New York, following a storyline that takes Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi back to his mafia roots. Filming is already underway. Details about Shreli’s character have not been revealed.

Born Nikolla Shkreli to Albanian immigrant parents who came to Detroit to work in the auto industry, Shreli got his start in the city’s theater and independent film scene before breaking into Hollywood.

He is best known for “Cash Only,” the Detroit crime thriller he wrote and starred in, as well as roles in “Power Book IV: Force,” “Killerman,” “Low Winter Sun,” “The Red Road” and “Abduction.”

Beyond acting, Shreli develops his own projects as a director and producer through his production company, Nickname Projects.

Created by Taylor Sheridan, with Terence Winter as head writer, “Tulsa King” streams on Paramount+.
