The Albanian-American community came together in record numbers on Sunday, May 31, 2026, as nearly 10,000 attendees gathered at Wolfe’s Pond Park in Staten Island for the 4th Annual Albanian Picnic.
Open to the public, the event featured a full day of live music, food, sports, vendors, and family-friendly activities. What began as a community gathering has quickly grown into one of the largest Albanian cultural events in the New York metropolitan area.
Organized in collaboration with multiple Albanian organizations, the picnic showcased the strength, unity, and pride of the Albanian-American community while celebrating the traditions and heritage that connect generations.
More than just a celebration, the Albanian Picnic continues to serve as a symbol of unity, bringing together Albanians from all regions and backgrounds under one shared identity.
The Albanian Picnic Committee extends its sincere gratitude to the volunteers, sponsors, vendors, performers, participating organizations, elected officials, public safety personnel, and community members whose support helped make this year’s event the most successful yet.
Following record attendance and overwhelming community support, organizers are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back next year.
