Albanians For America (AFA) held a lunch meeting with Chris Gober, Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Texas’ 10th Congressional District.
The organization noted that its relationship with Gober dates back to the very beginning of AFA’s establishment. Through his law firm, Lex Politica, Gober has served as legal counsel to the organization, playing an important role in helping build the institutional foundation that enabled AFA to grow into a leading Albanian-American advocacy organization. AFA expressed appreciation for his continued friendship, guidance, and support.
During the discussion, Gober shared his vision for the future of the United States, highlighting the rapid growth of the technology ecosystem in the Austin region. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the U.S. remains a global leader in artificial intelligence, robotics, space exploration, advanced manufacturing, and other emerging technologies.
He also underlined that innovation, economic competitiveness, and national security are closely interconnected, particularly in an increasingly competitive global environment.
AFA stated that American leadership in these sectors is critical not only for economic growth, but also for maintaining strategic advantage and strengthening national security. The organization emphasized the importance of continued dialogue between community leaders, policymakers, and innovators in preparing for future challenges and opportunities.
The meeting was also attended by Adrian Doko, Nino Rata, and Gino Mulliqi, who shared perspectives as Albanian-Americans on civic engagement, economic opportunity, and strengthening relationships between their community and elected officials.
AFA reaffirmed its commitment to continuing collaboration with Gober and wished him success in his congressional campaign.
