A film starring Kosovar actress Luana Bajrami has won an Oscar, marking a historic moment for Kosovo’s presence in international cinema.

The short film “Two People Exchanging Saliva” won the award for Best Live Action Short Film at the Academy Awards, one of the most prestigious ceremonies in the global film industry.
