Dredhza Braina, a 22-year-old cybersecurity talent from Kosovo, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Cybersecurity Woman of the Year 2025 award — a major global recognition that celebrates the most outstanding women in the field of cybersecurity.
Her inclusion among the finalists is not only a personal achievement but also a proud moment for Kosovo on the international tech stage.
Earlier this year, Dredhza made headlines after participating in the BSidesChicago conference in Chicago, Illinois, where she officially launched her open-source cybersecurity tool CAPICHE Detection Framework. The tool is designed to support cybersecurity professionals in simplifying threat detection within Cloud APIs — a rising challenge in the field.
“An honor and a pleasure to be part of these events, one of the very few representing my country — and the youngest presenter among professionals from all over the world,” she wrote on Facebook.
