Gino Mulliqi, a proud Albanian-American, has just been elected Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Wylie, Texas! Surrounded by his wife and children, Mulliqi took the oath of office in a heartfelt ceremony that marked a historic moment for the Albanian community in the U.S.

In a public statement, Mulliqi expressed his gratitude:

“I’m honored to share that I’ve been elected by my fellow councilmembers to serve as Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Wylie. I want to sincerely thank my colleagues for their confidence in me and for the opportunity to take on this role.” – said Mulliqi.
