Fabian Kamberi, a 25-year-old Albanian-American, has been named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe for 2025 thanks to his explosive success in the tech world. He’s the co-founder of SLAY, a Berlin-based startup that’s behind the viral AI-powered app Pengu, which already has over 10 million users.
Pengu lets users raise a virtual pet penguin powered by AI, and co-parent it with friends, adding a social twist to digital pets. The app’s mix of emotional bonding and fun gameplay has made it one of the most downloaded in the world among Gen Z users.
Backed by more than $20 million in funding from investors like Accel Ventures, Scooter Braun, and Candy Crush founder Riccardo Zacconi, Kamberi’s company is quickly becoming a leader in next-gen consumer apps for gaming and social media.
