A recent study conducted by CV Villas has determined that Pasqyra Beach, also known as “Mirror Beach,” in Albania has the bluest water in the world. The research involved analyzing unfiltered Google map images of 200 beaches globally and comparing their RGB color codes to YInMn Blue, a scientifically certified shade of blue discovered by Oregon State University.
Pasqyra Beach’s water was found to be just 12.4 points off from the YInMn Blue shade, securing its position as the bluest water on the planet. The beach is located in southern Albania, near the Greek island of Corfu.
Other beaches that ranked highly in the study include Paralia Mpouka in Greece, which came in second, and Kassiopi in Greece, which was third.
