Petrit Alibeaj, a dedicated advocate for the Albanian-American community in Boston, recently received a significant honor from the United States. At the request of Senator Elizabeth Warren, an American flag was flown over the Capitol in recognition of Alibeaj’s contributions to strengthening Albanian-American relations.

For over 20 years, Alibeaj has been actively involved in initiatives with American officials, advocating for the Albanian community in Boston. His work includes lobbying for a community center, organizing Flag Day celebrations, and participating in events such as the centennial of Albania’s independence and the reception of President Bujar Nishani. His dedication to his community has earned him this distinguished recognition.
