Ada Satka, the daughter of a prominent Albanian humanist and businessman in Cleveland, is making waves in the international music scene as the co-author of Georgia’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, titled “Firefighter”. The song, performed by Nutsa Buzaladze, is a powerful anthem that metaphorically battles against wars, envy, and hate, underlining a message of love and kindness in difficult times .
“Firefighter” stands out not only for its engaging melody and compelling lyrics but also for its dynamic composition, which has been collaboratively penned by Ada Satka and noted North Macedonian songwriter, Darko Dimitrov. Dimitrov’s previous contributions to the Eurovision Song Contest, including entries for North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, and Montenegro, highlight the song’s strong pedigree and international collaboration .
The song was selected from over 300 submissions, with Buzaladze herself playing a key role in its selection, signaling a tailored and personal approach to Georgia’s entry this year. This collaborative effort is further enhanced by the involvement of Italian choreographer Luigi Alocca, who will bring the song to life on stage with a dynamic choreography supported by four Italian male dancers.
