Albanian-Americans Celebrated Albania’s Flag Day Today

The organizations of the Albanian-American Community in the United States of America were at its best for this November 28. The 110th anniversary of the declaration of Independence of Albania was followed by many activities wherever there are Albanians in America.

One such event was organized by the Pan-Albanian Vatra Federation, in which the Skenderbej Albanian-American Association also participated.

“The Albanian-American Association “Skenderbej” duly participated in the grand celebration organized by the Vatra pan-Albanian Federation, to honor Flag Day, the most beautiful and sacred day of the Albanian nation, the 110th anniversary of the declaration of Independence. The chairman also participated of the honor of the association, Mr. Bashkim Shehu! The dinner passed in a very emotional atmosphere, seeing all the compatriots dancing and being happy together for this historic day of our nation!” – wrote in their Facebook post.

The Albanian-American Community in Illinois, Chicago also celebrated this day with various activities, both with music and raising the Albanian national flag in the city.

In Iowa also, there were some organizations by the community.
