The dialogue takes place within the activities of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Albania.
Albania and the United States of America reiterated the excellent level of relations between them.
The confirmation was given by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, as she participates in the strategic partnership dialogue between Albania and the United States that takes place in Washington.
The dialogue takes place within the activities of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Albania.
Ms. Xhaçka said that these are very intense days of the US-Albania strategic dialogue that reaffirms and deepens bilateral relations.
At the dialogue table for the American side are the Ambassador to Albania, Juri Kim, and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, Gabriel Eskobar, and it is chaired by the Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, Karen Donfried.

The minister specified the basic theme of Washington’s dialogue with the representative teams of both countries:
– Support for Ukraine;
– Protection of democracy;
– Deepening our partnership for security issues;
– Cooperation for cyber security;
-Strengthening transatlantic ties;
-Progress on the path of European Integration for the aspiring countries of the Western Balkans;
– Climate changes.
Ms. Xhaçka leads the Albanian delegation with the presence of the Deputy Ministers of Justice, Finance-Economy, Interior, Defense and Infrastructure and Energy.
Few say that the dialogue aims to deepen and expand the strategic partnership between the two countries and strengthen geostrategic cooperation for security, cyber defense, in the Security Council, energy, transport, climate, digitization.
