The International Women’s Club – IWC Stockholm, founded in 1961 and numbering 350 members from all over the world, for the month of October has decided ‘National costumes’ as its theme.
And in this group of women who represent over 60 nationalities, the ambassador of Kosovo to Sweden, Shkëndije Geci – Sherifi, is also a participant, who appeared dressed in Albanian national clothing to match the theme of the month.

The theme of the October activity of the International Women’s Club – IWC Stockholm, of which I am also a part, was: National Clothing.
Along with other ambassadors and many participants from around the world, I appeared in clothing with national motifs and still the white pleat got the most attention – which was presented as a symbol of our cultural heritage, identity and national pride throughout the centuries .
The varied program was also decorated with the Toponishte dance by the dancers of the Teuta association.
The IWC was founded in 1961 in Stockholm and has 350 members from different countries of the world representing over 60 nationalities.
