The spokesperson of the US State Department, Ned Price, has announced that the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, on Monday.
In the announcement, which was distributed by the US Embassy in Albania, it is said that Secretary Blinken has condemned the cyber attack by Iran against the TIMS system.
Secretary Blinken has emphasized the importance of cooperation between the USA and Albania, as allies in NATO, for regional security.

Secretary Blinken condemned the irresponsible September 9 cyber attack against Albania’s border control systems, which follows Iran’s July 15 cyber attack on Albania.
The Secretary emphasized the importance of the US-Albania cooperation, as an ally in NATO, for regional security.
