The Minister of the Interior of Kosovo, Xhelal Svecla, has announced the Russian journalist, Daria Aslamova, as an undesirable person.

Through a post on Facebook, he said that Aslamova was banned from entering Kosovo for five years.

“Anyone who, with certain goals or directives, violates or tries to destabilize our country, will without question face the force of the laws of the Republic of Kosovo” said Svecla, among other things.

Daria Aslamova was arrested by the Kosovo Police in the north of the country on August 6.

Announcing her arrest, Svecla said that “many countries have proven that she was engaged in espionage for Russian military intelligence and that she acted in the guise of a journalist.”

“The same has also participated in the fighting in Ukraine by propagandizing about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.”
