The head of diplomacy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, has announced that he has invited the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vučić, for a meeting on August 18 in Brussels, reports Express.
In this meeting, Borrell himself will be the mediator.
“I invited the President of Serbia, Aleksander Vucic, and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, on August 18 in Brussels, to discuss the way forward between Pristina and Belgrade,” wrote Borrell.
Otherwise, the spokesperson of the EU, Peter Stano, said that the institutions of the EU, as well as the member states, are observing “with concern” the events in Kosovo.
“Any uncoordinated and unilateral action that threatens stability and jeopardizes freedom of movement must be stopped,” Stano said.
