US Senators Chris Murphy, Jeanne Shaheen and Thom Tillis have arrived in Pristina as part of a Balkan tour. They were welcomed by the US Ambassador to Kosovo, Jeff Hovenier.

Ambassador Hovenier posted photos with the senators and wrote that the three members of the US Senate are longtime supporters of Kosovo’s independence.

I was pleased to welcome today in Kosovo Senators Shaheen, Murphy and Tillis, all longtime supporters of Kosovo’s independence, sovereignty and Euro-Atlantic integration. “We look forward to the essential commitments that Kosovo’s leaders show, the youth and the hospitality of Kosovo in sheltering Afghans,” Hovenier wrote.

During a press conference in Belgrade, US Senators Chris Murphy, Thom Tillis and Jeanne Shaheen after their meeting with Aleksandar Vucic were also asked about the Kosovo-Serbia agreements.

Kosovo was also discussed at the conference, where Murphy indicated that this week they will visit it together with Tillis and Shaheen, where they will put pressure on the Kosovo government to keep its promises for the agreements.
